| Queens Only Queer Film Series is pleased to present a special screening program focusing on a selection of shorts from Argentina and Uruguay produced independently in the last five years.
The program, “Milongueando: Rioplatense Festival of Shorts” is presented in partnership with the local social group Mateando. Screenings in collaboration with DIVERSA, Gay Lesbian Trans Film Festival of Argentina, CINEMAROSA brings for the first time to New York City the visions and works of a new generation of filmmakers from the Southern Cone.
There will be a panel discussion with members of Mateando, and a Q&A session with attending film representatives from Argentina and Uruguay. Vino tinto and empanadas at the Unisphere Gallery of QMA. Not to miss: Special Mateando en Rosa Night at Club Atlantis on Friday, November 6, 10 PM –Free with a CINEMAROSA Pass until 1 AM.
